MAKASSAR PROVINSI - AN OVERVIEW

Portuguese rulers called the town Macáçar. Makassar was extremely ably led in the primary fifty percent in the 17th century when it properly resisted Dutch strain to close down its trade to Maluku and created allies instead of enemies with the neighboring Bugis states. Karaeng Matoaya (c.1573–1636) was the ruler of Tallo from 1593, and also Cha
